Circa 1870s carte-de-visite (cdv) photograph of young circus sideshow midget attractions at the beginning of their career. Text at bottom front of mount card reads; Charles and Eliza Nestal, from Fort Wayne, Ind. known as Commodore Foote and Sister. Photographer is identified as Thurlow & Smiths Art Studio, Peoria, Ill. Approximate dimensions are 4-1/8" X 2-1/2". Condition; light toning and fading with a mild halo from a previous photograph album oval window mat now missing. occasional scuff and stain. on backside is a damp stain not easily visible from the front.
