c1861-1864 CDV Civil War 3 Cent Revenue Stamp on Back, Man with Beard, Glasses

Description

This is a carte de visite or CDV photograph with a Civil War Revenue Stamp on the back.  Because I think that the stamp may be the most intresting thing about it, I have put that photo first.  It is a three cent green stamp which has been hand cancelled.  The photograph is of a man with a beard, mustache and glasses.  There is no indication of the name of the man or the photographer.  We know it must have been taken in the north as it is a stamp to raise money for the Union Army.
