    This is a very rare camel cervical vertebra (neck bone) from the Pleistocene of North Florida. The species was either Hemiauchenia macrocephala or Palaeolama mirifica. It measures 8 1/4" long. It is well mineralized and detailed. Awesome and very unique specimen. This specimen has been treated with a preservative to ensure it remains stable for many years to come.
