Presented is an antique late Victorian period shaker made by Boston’s Goodnow & Jenks.
They were only active from 1893 to 1905, dating this piece to a narrow timeframe.
The body is plain except for a scrolled cartouche--intended for a monogram but never engraved.
The lid is perforated with an interesting rotating cover that will protect its delicate contents.
A wonderful Victorian vanity accessory.
